Group projects suck large amounts of ass.

So, last night I had to write a huge take home exam for software engineering. At 2am, in the middle of writing, the house a few doors down the road burnt down. Well not all the way down, but it was pretty fucked up. I ended up working on the exam till 6 and writing 18 pages single spaced. Then after a few hours of sleep I got to work on my other project that was due at 3 (stay with me... now im getting to the point of this blog). I wrote up a pretty kick ass report, while another member of my group was finishing the coding. I turned the writeup in by 3.... he didnt turn his in. FUCKER. anyway, we're proabbaly fucked since we automatically lose 20% of the grade. Luckily the professor wants to meet with us on Monday to discuss it, so maybe we can get off better. Man, the stupid fucker refused to let me help him with any of the work. He said it was my code that caused problems with integration, because it didn't conform to his standards. Would have been nice if he let me know these standards. My code worked impeccably goddamnit! And then, when he finally turned it in, he changed my part... just like he did in the previous projects. no wonder he didnt get anything done, he was too busy fucking with everyone elses code.

So in conclusion, this is why I fucking hate group projects. Give me a problem, tell me to code a solution, and I am happy, there is no need to bring any other people into this.

on a side note, I guess this would qualify as my first real post. so that pretty special. Once I finish exams, there should be a lot more of these, and I will put my old blog on wam so that you can all view its glory even when my ccomputer is off or *gasp* in windows(at least until they kill my wam account)
