more mindless babble

So it has once again been brought to my attention that I do not post to this blog very often. In fact, my last post was sometime in February. Ok, ok I am not as blog-productive as Kayla or Ben, but hey, my life just isnt that interesting to people I dont talk to on a regular basis. Would you like to hear about what is wrong with my computer or what I have been doing at work? Probabaly not. And at least I post more than my other half does. Why is no one yelling at her?

Ok, that rant out of the way, I will now procced to actually say something of substance:

So, 2 weeks ago I went to Chicago with Elizabeth, Maria and Craig, and Tom to visit Angie who is goign to school there. It was a lot of fun, and we got to have authentic Chicago deep dish pizza, drink a lot, drink on the 95th floor of a sky scraper, and in general have a good time. We went to the Cubs satdium which is like the 2nd oldest stadium still in use. We went to an incredibly classy bar on the 95th floor of the Hancock building, which has an incredible view of the city. Tom Proposed to Angie, thereby making Elizabeth and I the only unengaged people in the group, and making me the but of a lot of "so when are you going to get engaged" comments. We also went to teh stained glass museum, which was actually really cool. However the most entertaining thing we did was ride on one of those 6 seater bicycle cart things that you sometimes see at the beach. Of course being six full sized adults it was a little cramped. Furthermore, we were riding right next to Lake Michigan on an pretty steep sideways incline. we thought that teh cart would wither tip over or someone would fall out and into the lake.

I had a lot of computer trouble, but finally got it mostly working. The problem was probabaly a bad memory controller or some other part of my mother board/CPU, but at least for the time being I got it working without having to replace anything. We'll se if it stays working. I would go into more detail, but only two of the five people who ever read this blog would give a damn, so I wont.

Tomorrow, Elizabeth and I, and possibly Ducore are doign the Tour De Cure bike ride for Diabetes which is like a 31 mile bike ride. After that we are going to the Maryland brewers festival, which is basically like brew at the zoo with less exotic animals. Then we are going to have a BBQ at our house. If you want to join us for any of these activities, let me know. The BBQ will be at 8ish, and w ewill provide burgers and beer. you should bring a side or something.
